Careers in soils 3:2 · ~900×600
Wondering what to study, or whether a career in soil science could be for you? Discover the diversity of soil science careers through 33 interviews with people working in the field.

This publication was endorsed by the National Soils Advocate, The Hon. Penny Wensley AC, on 8 December 2022 during the launch of the TERN Australia Soil & Herbarium Collection at the University of Adelaide’s Waite Campus.

It contains the results of 33 interviews with people who, in 2022, held jobs relevant to soils. It is intended for secondary and tertiary students wondering what to study or which career might suit them, and for the teachers, careers counsellors, guidance officers, librarians and parents who help them decide.
